Our Mission
EduPeru's mission is to bring young Peruvians a bright and promising new future not only for themselves but for their families as well. Through access to high quality local educational programs and college and university courses, participants in EduPeru can earn a diploma and gain qualifications, skills and confidence which will open doors for them to new employment opportunities and thereby empower them to leave their poverty and past behind them. This can be achieved through your generosity and help.

Thalia's story
Thalia’s dad is a drug addict who has been in and out of jail. He is very controlling of her, yet she remains very defensive of him. Her mum rarely sees her as she has started a new family with another partner. Thalia is often left to cook and clean the house, look after her two brothers without much thought or interest from her father for her future.

Where does your money go?
Your contribution is used 99.5% for the educational fund of just one person with no administration fees, no paid staff and no hidden extras. We only pay minimal costs to cover automatic and unavoidable Paypal and credit card deductions from donations, pay for the hosting of a website, and an accountancy firm.

Where are we located?
Eduperu is located in Lima, Peru. Founded in 1535 by Fancisco Pizarro, a Spanish Conquistador, much of traditional downtown Lima remains the same, but modern districts such as San Isidro, Miraflores and Barranco appeal more to the traveller.
